Skin

I was looking at my tummy today thinking about skin. So I decided to post this. People don't really think about how important their skin is sometimes but really, it makes such a huge difference having good skin or bad one. Noone wants to look 40 when they're in their twenties, noone enjoys being sunburnt, yet some of us don't always take the best care of our skin.

So here are some facts about *skin*

- skin is the largest organ in the human body
- its made of three layers (epidermis, dermis and hypodermis)
- skin loses about 30,000 to 40,000 dead skin cells from the surface every minute, but we don't see it happening
- the place where the skin is thinest is the eyelids
- goosebumps are little pimples that help retain a layer of warm air over our body
- to avoid skin from aging always use sun block
- it is very important to always keep skin hydrated
- smoking is bad for the skin
- skin cancer is the most common of cancers among men and women

so... wear sun cream & take care of your skin!
